The Maxxis NS5 winter tire is designed for operation in regions with a cold climate. On any snowy and icy roads, it demonstrates reliability of control, efficiency of braking, directional stability, along with acoustic comfort and smoothness of ride.
The tread pattern stands out with a V-shaped arrangement and variable width drainage grooves. These features increase their throughput, allowing for intense removal of water and its heavy mixture with snow from the contact patch. It's worth noting the presence of special zones with increased adsorption capacity around the studs, enhancing the adhesive properties on icy surfaces. The steel studs are arranged in such a way that they form 14 rows during movement, which is more than enough to provide stable traction and braking properties on ice..
