Description Maxxis MA500 Victra
Operational properties of the Maxxis MA500 Victra summer tire are selected taking into account the technical characteristics of the most dynamic versions of compact and mid-size passenger cars. The UHP category model is distinguished by high efficiency at high speed, demonstrating stability and reliability of traction, both on straight and when maneuvering.
The effectiveness of the tire's operation at high speed is largely ensured by the solutions located under the tread of the protector. In particular, under it is a breaker, which is a two-layer steel cord. This component has not only high mechanical strength but also resistance to deformation, which positively affects both the stability of traction properties and handling. The frame itself is made of a multi-layer nylon cord obtained by the method of seamless winding. The very dense structure and the absence of any seams help the tire to maintain its shape under the influence of multidirectional acceleration forces, as well as reduce heating during prolonged high-speed movement, increasing the service life and reducing fuel consumption.
Main features of Maxxis MA500 Victra
- a double steel breaker increases stability at high speed;
- a seamless fully synthetic frame provides directional stability, reduces tire heating;
- low tendency to skidding during maneuvering due to a solid rib in the center and an additional cord occupying the entire surface under the tread of the protector;
- increased longitudinal drainage grooves reduce the risk of aquaplaning.
