Maxxis MA-P3 – a tire used on passenger cars and designed for operation in summer and winter time. The product is distinguished by a high level of grip on dry, wet, snowy and icy roads, comfort of movement, directional stability and handling, as well as maneuverability.
The tread pattern of the tire is symmetrical and non-directional. In the central part, there are three ribs – one smooth, on the sides of which there are ribs with numerous blocks of medium size. A high level of lamination allows improving the tire's grip characteristics on any road surface. The blocks in the shoulder zones are larger, allowing to improve directional stability and handling, as well as providing increased safety during maneuvers and high-speed turns.
Four longitudinal channels and numerous transverse grooves provide rapid evacuation of liquid, snow, and dirt from under the contact patch. The tread pattern ensures an increase in the service life.
In the contact patch, the pressure is distributed evenly, which also contributes to wear resistance. The modified sidewalls of the model improve damping.
