Description Maxxis MA-510
The Maxxis MA-510 tire, released by the rapidly developing Taiwanese company Maxxis, is designed for installation on small and medium-sized passenger cars.
The symmetric tread pattern with three ribs provides low rolling resistance. This solution provides low fuel consumption during operation. The width of the ribs and the special notches located on them provide high-quality traction with the road surface. The design of the tread elements allows the vehicle to stay on the track when passing high-speed turns.
Aquaplaning is an unpleasant factor that reduces the quality of traction with the road surface during bad weather conditions. To reduce the impact of this factor, the tread of the Maxxis MA-510 tire is equipped with four longitudinal grooves that allow water to be quickly removed from the contact patch. The design of the arc blocks increases the vehicle's resistance to lateral skidding when passing turns. The tread pattern provides maximum road control and comfort during operation. The use of modern materials in the tire design has allowed to increase the service life.
Main features of the Maxxis MA-510 tire
- resistance to skidding when passing high-speed turns due to the special structure of the tread;
- high traction coefficients on dry and wet asphalt are ensured by the presence of special notches;
- low noise level;
- long service life, which is ensured by a special composition of the rubber mixture.
