Maxxis MA-1 – a stylish summer tire for compact passenger cars, including retro cars, with a white stripe on the sidewall. The basis of the tire is a steel breaker, as well as nylon layers made using a seamless technology. They provide increased resistance to mechanical stress, preventing tears, and also improve the level of driving comfort, suppressing the main mass of vibrations.
The tread pattern of the model is developed based on computer modeling, so it is characterized by a combination of reliable traction and towing properties, as well as noise reduction. Its basis consists of three ribs, the central one having a solid structure with lateral notches. Thanks to this, precise handling and quick response to steering wheel turns were achieved. The segmented rib structure of the middle and shoulder zone forms an increased number of gripping edges. They reliably fix the contact zone, maintaining traction even on wet road surfaces. This is achieved by cutting through the water film and quickly draining excess moisture through numerous channels. The presence of self-locking lamellas further increases the efficiency of contact with the wet surface, avoiding lateral skidding.
