The summer passenger tire Maxxis CS-735 from a well-known Taiwanese manufacturer is designed for small and medium-sized passenger cars.
The design of the non-directional tread pattern of the tire features an original appearance. The tread pattern consists of three ribs located in the central part of the tread, and two reinforced shoulder areas. The central rib is made solid and uninterrupted, and on its surface are longitudinal and diagonal sipes that enhance the stiffness of this tread element, which improves the tire's basic operating characteristics, in particular, braking efficiency and directional stability.
The two other ribs, located in the central part of the tread, increase the tire's contact patch area, which provides high traction and grip when driving on dry roads. The diagonal grooves on their surface improve water evacuation from the contact patch and significantly contribute to reducing noise and vibration levels.
To improve stability and safety when driving on wet roads, the tread pattern of the tire is equipped with four longitudinal grooves that run along the entire tread, designed for quick water removal from the contact patch of the Maxxis CS-735 tire, which prevents aquaplaning even at high speeds. The shoulder areas of the tread feature a reinforced design and a rounded profile. This allowed for a significant improvement in the tire's grip with the road surface when cornering, and the rounded profile of the shoulder area reliably prevents uneven wear.
The tire's carcass design was developed with high-speed driving in mind and features a layer of nylon fibers, which provided a high level of resistance to aggressive mechanical impacts, as well as significantly improved the tire's durability.
Key features of the Maxxis CS-735 tire
- A large contact patch area provides excellent traction and braking performance on dry roads;
- Excellent resistance to aquaplaning thanks to four water-dispelling grooves;
- Low rolling resistance ensures excellent fuel economy characteristics;
- Softness and high comfort when driving are provided by the original tread pattern design, as well as the elasticity of the carcass, which contains a layer of nylon fibers.
