The all-season tire Maxxis Allseason AP2 is adapted for urban use. It is characterized by improved performance on snow and ice cleared asphalt roads, is effective in deep snow, reliable and has a long service life when exposed to adverse factors.
With a symmetrical directional arrangement of elements, the tread pattern has an original design with several features. One of them is the structure of the central part. It is a very wide longitudinal rib of a tapered shape. The "offshoots" departing from the center provide the contact patch with numerous inclined edges, which improve traction and directional stability on snow. Wide shoulder blocks are deployed across, which reduces the risk of lateral skidding on asphalt, shortens the braking distance and gives the tire quickness and accuracy in response.
Main features of Maxxis Allseason AP2
- directional tread pattern, effective on any road surface;
- confident behavior on ice and snow due to the increased number of blocks and lamellas;
- special rubber compound that maintains elasticity at low temperatures and integrity when heated.
