Summer light tire Matador MP-82 4x4 SUV was specially designed for SUVs and crossovers. Despite this, this model has a fairly narrow range of applications, mainly limited to roads with a hard surface. The size range of this tire includes 5 sizes for wheels with a landing diameter of 16 inches and a profile height of 60, 65, and 70%.
Universality of application
The manufacturer positions this model as a tire for regions with warm summers and moderate winters, thus allowing for the possibility of operation in winter. This confidence is based on the S-shaped tread pattern, which has many tread blocks. The numerous edges formed by them provide reliable traction, especially on slippery surfaces. In addition, it is impossible not to notice the fairly wide shoulder areas of the Matador MP-82 4x4 SUV, which are two additional rows of rectangular blocks. They are spaced far enough apart to provide confident overcoming of light off-road sections. On roads with a hard surface, these blocks, located perpendicular to the direction of movement, contribute to a reduction in braking distance.
Excellent resistance to aquaplaning and slushplaning
When driving on wet roads, this tire will not give a single reason to doubt its reliability and stability. Such abilities have appeared due to the thoroughness and meticulousness that the company's specialists demonstrated when developing the drainage system design. It consists of four longitudinal drainage grooves and numerous transverse channels. The impressive sizes, combined with their quantity, allow the drainage system to easily cope with the removal of not only water but also snow slush from the contact patch, thereby ensuring reliable contact with the slippery surface.
Main features of the Matador MP-82 4x4 SUV model
- Low noise level due to the multi-step scheme of arrangement of all tread elements;
- High traction characteristics on slippery surfaces are provided by the presence of many sharp edges in the central part of the tread, formed by numerous blocks;
- Massive tread blocks in the shoulder areas of the tread allow for more confident overcoming of complex sections, while providing a shorter braking distance on asphalt.
