The Marshal WinterCraft SUV WS71 winter tire is installed on SUVs and off-road vehicles. It is a special version of the same-name "passenger" model, differing from it with an enhanced frame and sidewall construction, while having an identical tread pattern design.
The tread part is made in a directional design with an asymmetric arrangement of elements, which form several functional areas that provide a balance of driving characteristics. Small square blocks located closer to the outer side improve traction on snow. Triangular and trapezoidal blocks forming a wide solid edge near the inner shoulder zone provide directional stability and stability during braking. Elements located at the edges of the tread prevent skidding during maneuvers and reduce the braking distance.
The tread pattern contains a large number of lamellas. The slots used here belong to "three-dimensional" elements and are equipped with a self-locking mechanism.
