The Marshal HT51 tire is designed for SUVs and crossovers used primarily on paved roads. It is an exact copy of the Crugen HT51 model from the South Korean company Kumho. It is positioned by the manufacturer as an all-season tire. However, in northern regions, it can only be used in the summer.
Rigid Central Blocks
The tire's tread in its central part consists of three rows of individual blocks. These elements have massive dimensions, giving them stability even under strong directional acceleration forces. This feature improves several important properties at once. First and foremost, it is directional stability and handling, traction properties in the longitudinal direction.
Three-Dimensional Lameles
The ability to use the tire throughout the year is largely ensured by several thousand lamellas - narrow slits contained in each block. Their side walls have special protrusions and depressions. They fix the lamellas in the open position when contacting the road, limiting the block's mobility at the same time. As a result, the contact patch receives additional traction edges, and the individual tread elements - stability, which, in turn, gives the behavior stability in the most difficult situations.
Key Features of Marshal HT51
- can be used throughout the year;
- several thousand 3D lamellas improve handling and traction on slippery, rainy and snowy roads;
- open tread design with numerous blocks provides high performance on roads and dirt roads;
- zigzag drainage grooves prevent aquaplaning at any speed.
