Tyres Malatesta

The Italian company Malatesta Pneumatici was established in 1946 and named after its founder, Alberto Malatesta. The firm specialized in repairing car tires until 1990, when it built a plant for their full restoration. Currently, this production is exported to 35 countries around the world. Its range includes tires of the following categories:

- tires for passenger cars and SUVs;
- truck tires;
- racing tires;
- industrial tires;
- tires for agricultural machinery.

The brand's passenger model line includes dozens of tires designed for various operating conditions. They can be conditionally divided into the following categories:

- for everyday use;
- with sporty handling.

Part of the models in this line are designed for SUVs and relate to All Terrain tires, such as Kondor. It's also worth noting the presence of tires for compact passenger cars in this category. Such models are distinguished by increased ride comfort, reduced rolling resistance, and efficiency when braking on dry and wet surfaces.

The models with pronounced sporty handling include, first of all, tires with the word Extreme in their name. Some of the solutions used in these tires were "borrowed" from their racing counterparts. First and foremost, this concerns the design of the carcass and the composition of the rubber mixture. These features provide maximum stability at high speeds and when maneuvering.

Currently, the company offers a wide range of winter passenger tires designed for operation in various climatic conditions, including the most complex ones. The diversity in running qualities is ensured by the use of various compounds with different characteristics, as well as a large number of design options for the tread pattern - from classic V-shaped to modern ones with asymmetric element arrangement. The wide range of solutions made it possible to create very specific products, such as the MS 200. This is a tire with rally roots that can be used not only on snow but also on unpaved roads.

This category includes tires for SUVs that are mostly used off paved roads. Moreover, we are talking about the most extreme types of such tires, namely the Mud Terrain category. The diversity of the offered range is due to the fact that this line consists of tires designed for various types of unpaved surfaces - from sand to rocks. Such models are characterized by exceptional strength and reliability, combined with high efficiency in the conditions for which they were developed.

In this segment, the company offers only 7 models. One of them, the MDE2, is designed for medium-capacity trucks. The rest of the tires are designed for large commercial vehicles, including buses. A distinctive feature of all models is increased strength and fuel efficiency. Some of them are designed for full-fledged winter operation on snowy and icy surfaces and are distinguished by corresponding tread patterns composed of blocks.
