Cargo summer tire LingLong R658, released by one of the leaders of the tire industry from China, is designed for use on wheels of any axles of medium-duty trucks, as well as on buses.
The design of the non-directional symmetric tread pattern assumes summer use of this tire. The tread pattern is equipped with everything that a modern car tire cannot be imagined without. In particular, the tread pattern is equipped with five longitudinal ribs, like most competitors of this tire. A distinctive feature of the LingLong R658 tire is the zigzag edges of the central ribs and the inner sides of the shoulder zones. This is done to get rid of one of the scourges of ride comfort - resonant noises.
Another characteristic feature is the trapezoidal shape with curved edges of the blocks located in the central part of the tread. Thanks to this shape, it was possible to reduce rolling resistance on the one hand, thereby improving fuel efficiency, and on the other hand, to provide excellent traction with the road due to the large contact patch area. In addition, the arrangement of blocks at a minimum distance from each other made it possible to give the two ribs, where they are located, greater stiffness, thereby positively affecting the acceleration and braking efficiency.
It is also worth noting the excellent resistance of the tire to aquaplaning. This was achieved due to the competent organization of water drainage from the contact patch using four longitudinal grooves.
Main features of the LingLong R658 tire
- excellent fuel efficiency, ensured by low rolling resistance, which was reduced due to the stiffness of the construction of the three longitudinal ribs located in the central part of the tread;
- remarkable resistance to aquaplaning, provided by four longitudinal grooves, allows you to feel more confident and safe on a wet road;
- high resistance to wear due to a well-chosen composition of the rubber mixture, which provides a longer service life of the tire.
