LingLong CrossWind A/T – summer tire that can be used on a wide range of pickups, SUVs and crossovers, operated both in urban conditions and on rough terrain. The model stands out for its versatility, which was achieved through optimization of the tread using modern modeling technologies.
The working area of the tread is represented by a developed block structure, where each element is located separately. Thanks to this, not only numerous mud catchers were formed, but also a developed network of channels. These elements allow for effective maintenance of grip with the surface, ensuring high trafficability of the vehicle, as well as cleaning the contact area from dirt and water. Note that the channels have a special structure that allows for self-cleaning even from solid particles. This guarantees the preservation of traction properties even on loose and viscous soils.
The internal carcass also has features of its construction. In particular, along with a metal cord and a breaker made of synthetic materials, reinforced aramid fibers are provided in the sidewalls. Thanks to them, the likelihood of damage from sharp objects during movement on rough terrain is significantly reduced, and the service life is increased.
Despite the aggressive appearance of the blocks and their significant height, the model provides a high level of acoustic comfort. This was achieved through optimization of the arrangement of tread elements, between which no air swirls are formed.
An important component of the tire is a special compound reinforced with a number of additives. They increased its resistance to mechanical stress, which is common when driving off-road. Despite this, the rubber compound is characterized by its elasticity, allowing it to maintain a high level of grip properties on any surfaces.
