Description Lenston Eagle L600
The Lenston Eagle L600 is a summer tyre designed for passenger vehicles and use on asphalt surfaces. Its tread pattern is built around extended longitudinal ribs separated by circumferential grooves. The dense central area is complemented by wide shoulder zones, which help maintain stability during straight-line driving and maneuvering.
Dense central area
The center of the tread retains large rubber sections with short slanted sipes. They form a continuous longitudinal support, not divided into numerous individual blocks. This geometry limits excessive movement of elements when transmitting driving and braking forces. On the road, this results in more consistent vehicle response to steering corrections and helps maintain the chosen direction of travel.
Longitudinal water evacuation channels
Circumferential grooves run around the entire circumference of the tread. They collect water from the contact patch and provide the main pathways for water evacuation during rolling. Slanted sipes in the ribs and transverse grooves at the edges of the tread complement this system by gathering water from individual surface areas. The branched network of channels helps maintain rubber contact with the asphalt during rain.
Wide support at the tread edges
The shoulder zones consist of large blocks with transverse sipes. Their wide bases support the edges of the contact patch under lateral loads during cornering and lane changes. The dense arrangement of shoulder blocks helps limit their mutual displacement, while the sipes create additional biting edges. This complements the action of the longitudinal ribs when the vehicle changes direction.
