The all-season tire Laufenn G-Fit 4S LH71 is positioned by the manufacturer as a "compromise option" between summer and winter tires. The model is designed for the markets of European countries and has been developed taking into account the specific road conditions during the period of "warm winters".
The tread pattern is distinguished by a V-shaped arrangement of elements. The drainage grooves are inclined at an aggressive angle and expand as they approach the edges of the tread. This reduces the risk of aquaplaning and slash planning. The dense arrangement of blocks in the central part, as well as the limitation of their mobility through special "bases", increases the directional stability and accuracy of steering on clean dry roads. On slippery surfaces, the grip properties are ensured by numerous cutting edges formed by 3D and 2D lamellas. Narrow slits are located at different angles, which gives the tire confident behavior regardless of the angle of rotation of the steering wheel.
Key features of Laufenn G-Fit 4S LH71
- two types of lamellas improve grip on wet and snowy roads;
- V-shaped expanding grooves reduce the risk of hydroplaning and slash planning;
- dense arrangement of blocks in the central part increases directional stability and steering accuracy at high speeds, reduces rolling resistance and wear.
