Description Kumho Wintercraft Ice WI31+
The Kumho Wintercraft Ice WI31+ winter tire for passenger cars is an improved version of the same-name model, popular for its driving characteristics. It is distinguished by improved traction and grip properties on ice and packed snow.
The key difference from the previous model is the number of spikes. Instead of 150, there are now 200. At the same time, the steel elements have significantly decreased in size, which allowed this tire to meet current European requirements. In addition to the number of spikes, the scheme of their arrangement has changed, which further improved the grip properties and handling on ice and packed snow. Another change was the rubber compound with an even higher content of "silica". This component and the technology of compound production provide the tread with elasticity at low temperatures, while simultaneously increasing the strength of the tread and its resistance to tearing.
Key features of Kumho Wintercraft Ice WI31+
- an increased number of spikes, up to 200, improves traction and handling on ice and packed snow;
- a rubber compound with ultra-high "silica" content and special polymers in its composition provides elasticity at extremely low temperatures and resistance to wear;
- a V-shaped tread pattern with elongated transverse edges is effective on any winter roads.
