The all-season tire Kumho Solus HA31 SUV is designed for SUVs and crossovers. Developed on the basis of the same "passenger" tire, it differs from it in size range, reinforced frame and sidewalls. It is characterized by improved traction on wet and snowy roads, precise handling, quiet and smooth ride.
The tread pattern has a "classic" design for winter tires with a V-shaped arrangement of drainage grooves. They are directed against the direction of movement, which, together with their large volume, allows them to divert water and its heavy mixture with snow from under the tire with maximum intensity. The high walls of the grooves form elongated sharp edges that allow the tire to effectively implement traction and braking force even on snow. On icy and wet roads, the tire remains sticky thanks to numerous lamellas.
In the center of the tread pattern is a solid longitudinal rib of a pointed shape. The rigid element reduces rolling resistance, increases the stability of the coupling properties and the accuracy of handling at high speeds. When dynamic maneuvering, stability is ensured by massive shoulder blocks with a trapezoidal profile, limiting their mobility when subjected to lateral acceleration forces.
