The Kumho Mu19 matrac summer tire is designed for dynamic versions of passenger cars. At high speeds, it is characterized by directional stability, sporty-tuned handling, and is effective when braking on a wet surface.
The tread pattern is designed in an asymmetrical design with a division into functional areas. One of them is the shoulder zones with large blocks, rigidly connected to each other by "bridges". This increases stability and precision handling during maneuvering. At the same time, the long transverse grooves reduce the length of the braking distance on a wet surface. The monolithic rib located on the inside provides directional stability on straight sections. In turn, the blocks located nearby allow for intense acceleration on a slippery coating. It is worth noting the use of a rubber compound with a high content of "silica". This significantly increases the "grip" of the tire on a cold and wet road.
