The tire is distinguished by a thoughtful approach to the formation of the size range, which consists of several dozen types with a landing diameter from 14 to 16 inches.
Optimized rolling resistance
The tread pattern of the Kumho KH27 Ecowing ES01 model contains a number of solutions that are more characteristic of models designed for commercial vehicles. The tread is distinguished by a reduced number of longitudinal ribs, only four. This made it possible to significantly reduce the rolling resistance, which directly affects the indicators of fuel efficiency.
Short braking distance on a wet road
Each of the four longitudinal ribs is a separate row of blocks containing a multitude of edges. Due to the fact that they are located almost at a right angle to the direction of movement, the tire demonstrates excellent braking properties, especially on a wet road.
Quiet and smooth ride
When driving, this tire demonstrates a low noise level and a sufficiently smooth ride. This was made possible by the two-layer tread and the special arrangement of the tread elements. The lower layer of the tread is made of a more rigid rubber compound, which has increased resistance to dynamic deformation, due to which the tire has increased stability when performing maneuvers. The upper layer, on the other hand, contains a more elastic rubber compound, thanks to which the tread much better dampens the shocks from irregularities on the road surface. The low noise level is ensured by the multi-step arrangement of the tread elements.
