The Kumho I Zen RV KC15 is a studded winter tire from the leading Korean tire manufacturer. The company "Kumho" has been on the market for over half a century and has gained great recognition. In the development and production of Kumho tires, advanced technologies are used, which make it possible to obtain a high-quality product at the output.
This tire is specifically designed for equipping SUVs and jeeps and has excellent characteristics when driving on winter roads.
The tread pattern design of the Kumho I Zen RV KC15 is asymmetric, non-studded. Due to the asymmetric nature of the pattern, as well as the large number of blocks, the tire has excellent traction properties. The traction properties of the tire are also increased by the slit-like grooves, sinusoidal grooves in the central zone, and zigzag-like lamellas in the shoulder zone.
The tread composition contains a high content of silica, which contributes to the thermal resistance of the tire: it does not freeze at low temperatures, maintaining its elasticity. Therefore, this tire is very durable. Another characteristic is the low rolling resistance, which reduces fuel consumption by up to five percent. So this tire, in addition to everything, is also environmentally friendly. Moreover, the tread composition includes highly dispersed silicon, which also contributes to fuel economy. The absorbing layered compounds are responsible for the tire's absorption characteristic, which ensures acoustic comfort while driving. In general, the entire tread pattern design is developed in such a way that the noise generation of the tire when moving is actually reduced to zero.
The good directional stability of the vehicle "shod" in this tire is guaranteed by the blocks in the central zone of the tread. They also provide a prompt response to steering. This tire is also equipped with a large number of lamellas, which also contribute to high-quality traction with the road surface and allow you to keep balance when passing turns.
Finally, the strong side of the Kumho I Zen RV KC15 tire is the drainage of moisture from the contact patch with the road surface. For this purpose, special drainage grooves are provided in the tread, which are located on the outer side of the tread - they prevent the occurrence of aquaplaning, effectively draining moisture from the contact zone. High-quality water drainage is also contributed by the ring and transverse grooves, which quickly remove wet snow from the tread.
In general, according to all characteristics, this tire is optimal for winter driving and will serve its owner well for more than one season.
Distinctive features of Kumho I Zen RV KC15
- Kumho I Zen RV KC15 is a studded winter tire for SUVs and jeeps.
