The Kumho Ecsta V720 passenger tire has specific operational properties. It is a racing tire adapted for "civilian" use. It differs from its sports counterparts only in a longer service life with comparable coupling properties, especially on wet pavement.

Rigid longitudinal rib in the center

The tread pattern is divided into several functional areas. One of them is a very wide longitudinal rib that runs exactly in the middle. This tread element is solid and therefore does not change its shape even under strong mechanical stress. When driving at high speed, these features provide excellent directional stability and handling precision.

Massive shoulder blocks

The shoulder blocks are even more massive. They are combined into groups of two elements each, which provides the contact patch with very long coupling edges. They increase the effectiveness of the tread when slowing down, especially on wet pavement. When maneuvering, the massive size of the shoulder blocks increases the contact patch area, which improves resistance to skidding on dry pavement.
