The summer tire Kumho Ecsta AST KU25 is designed for compact and mid-size passenger cars. It is characterized by stable traction properties in any driving mode, comfortable handling, quiet and soft ride on uneven roads.
The tire carcass has a "mixed" construction. Above the steel cord, there is an additional synthetic one made of spiral-shaped nylon fibers. This further increases the stability of the contact patch when driving at high speeds. The tread of the tire is made of a rubber compound with a high content of silicon dioxide. This gives the tire "grip" on wet pavement, provides a soft ride on uneven surfaces. The tread pattern is distinguished by the original shape of the blocks in the shoulder zones. Their front edge is sharpened, and the rear one is, on the contrary, rounded. In the first case, the grip on wet pavement is increased, and in the second, the level of abrasive impact on the tread during sharp longitudinal accelerations and maneuvering is reduced.
