The all-season tire Kumho Ecowing KH30 was developed taking into account the specific climatic conditions of European countries. It is characterized by improved traction and coupling properties on wet and snowy surfaces, ease of handling when maneuvering, along with the "signature" features of the Ecowing line models - increased mileage, fuel economy and acoustic comfort.
To a large extent, these features are ensured due to the presence of a reinforced breaker with an additional layer of synthetic cord. A rigid "substrate" is located under the entire tread of the tire, limiting the mobility of all elements of its pattern. This significantly increases the evenness of pressure distribution on the road surface, which on the one hand provides more stability of the coupling properties, making it easier to handle, and on the other hand reduces the level of abrasive impact on the tread and reduces rolling resistance, increasing the tire's mileage and reducing fuel consumption, respectively. The key difference from other representatives of the Ecowing line was the design of the tread pattern. It is still based on four wide longitudinal ribs, but at the same time contains many more lamellae. Narrow slits with a "three-dimensional" profile of the vertical walls form hundreds of sharpened edges that allow the tire to provide stable coupling when accelerating and braking, both on wet and snowy surfaces. It is worth highlighting another important difference - the composition of the rubber compound. It is distinguished by the presence of a significant amount of silicon dioxide, and the latest variation of this component is used, along with advanced mixing technologies. As a result, the tire demonstrates not only the ability to maintain elasticity at negative temperatures but also excellent resistance to abrasive wear, the formation of cracks and small cracks, providing a large resource even on poor roads.
Main features of Kumho Ecowing KH30:
- a reinforced breaker with an additional cord improves handling, fuel economy and wear resistance;
- numerous lamellae and grooves provide reliable handling on the most slippery winter surfaces;
- an optimized compound with increased elasticity at low temperatures, resistance to wear, cracking and cracking.
