Kormoran VanPro B2

One of the characteristic features of the model is its increased efficiency on any surface. This is ensured by several design features. One of them is a tread with an increased content of gripping edges. They are formed not only by numerous blocks but also by lamellas cut into them. Several types of these elements are used here.

In the central part, there are wavy lamellas. This shape allows them to perform several functions. In addition to forming additional gripping edges, this limits the mobility of the blocks. This increases their resistance to deformation, which in turn improves stability when driving at high speeds.

In the shoulder areas, cross-shaped lamellas are used. They are also multifunctional. Thanks to their configuration, these tread elements improve the efficiency of the tread when accelerating, braking, as well as when performing maneuvers and passing turns. The cross-shaped grooves increase the contact area of the shoulder blocks with the road surface. This significantly improves the grip properties on dry surfaces.

Efficiency on unpaved roads

The tire is equipped with a tread having a sufficiently open design, containing many individual elements. All of them have a polygonal shape, which further increases the number of edges in the contact patch. It is also worth noting the significant width and depth of the drainage grooves. This allows the tread to very effectively grip gravel and stone surfaces and intensively self-clean.

Another significant advantage of the tire when used off paved roads is the design of the shoulder blocks. Their surface, extending to the sidewalls, has a special protrusion. It forms an extended vertical edge, which greatly helps the tire when moving on wet soil.

Increased durability

Being designed for light commercial vehicles, the tire contains solutions most often used in models for trucks. One of them is a full-metal breaker. It significantly increases the carrying capacity of the tire and protects the tread from uneven wear, ensuring optimal distribution of external load.
