Description Kormoran SnowPro
The Kormoran SnowPro winter tire is designed for passenger cars of various classes. The model is offered in a wide range of sizes. Developed by Michelin specialists using advanced French company technologies. Characterized by confident behavior on snow and wet pavement, comfortable handling and a long service life.
Directional Tread
This tire uses a directional symmetric tread. This choice is due to its advantages on surfaces with a low coefficient of friction. The V-shaped arrangement of tread elements on one side increases the contact patch with the road, and on the other, it provides stability against lateral skidding and reliable traction in the longitudinal direction.
Several Types of Lames
The tread is distinguished by an increased number of traction edges. More than three-quarters of them are formed by narrow cuts - lames, located in each block. Several types of them are used here. Wave-like cuts, mainly located on the edges of the tread, enhance traction during longitudinal accelerations, and also additionally increase the stiffness of the blocks during maneuvering. In turn, the central part contains straight lames. These elements improve directional stability, enhance longitudinal traction properties, and give the tire a softer ride.
Longitudinal S-shaped Grooves
The tread pattern contains a sufficient number of narrow longitudinal S-shaped grooves. They additionally increase the tire's resistance to lateral skidding.
Key Features of the Kormoran SnowPro Tire
- directional symmetric tread increases the contact patch and traction properties on snow;
- saw-tooth lames enhance traction on icy pavement;
- wide shoulder blocks reduce the braking distance and improve stability in turns.
