Kormoran Road Terrain
Tire specifications
DescriptionDescription Kormoran Road Terrain
The Kormoran Road Terrain summer tire is installed on SUVs and pickups. At the same time, the model belongs to the HT category, demonstrating its strengths on solid road surfaces, including dirt roads.
The tread pattern is designed in a non-directional design with a symmetrical arrangement of elements. Its feature is the structure of the central part with blocks made in the shape of the figure "eight". They are unfolded longitudinally and are arranged in a "checkerboard" order in two rows. This solution significantly reduces rolling resistance and uneven wear, improves directional stability and handling at high speeds. The feature of the shoulder areas is that the blocks located there with a significant part of them enter the sidewalls. This improves the tire's passability on difficult off-road sections.
Key features of Kormoran Road Terrain
- "figure-eight" blocks prevent uneven wear and skidding when moving at high speed, improve acoustic comfort;
- large polygonal blocks in the shoulder areas increase stability when maneuvering and handling responsiveness.

Good tires. Indeed not all-season, but truly summer and possibly late autumn and early frost. Low noise. Handles normally both at 120-130 and 160 km/h, excellent on wet asphalt and light dirt on forest or dirt roads.. (Didn't try off-road).
At the first frost and a small icy crust on the asphalt at speeds over 80 km/h, it starts to slightly skid at the rear (driving wheels).. Therefore, for myself, I defined them as truly summer tires, despite the deep tread.. On snow, it moves normally, but again, the speed.. Over two seasons, I've driven 28,000 km on them and almost didn't notice any wear.

High-quality tires from Europe. They handle the road well on both asphalt and dirt. Not too noisy (do not cause discomfort). I haven't tried them on snow and ice since I bought them to replace my winter tires. Since ratings for snow and ice handling are required to submit a review, these two ratings are given conditionally.

Haven't driven much, but I liked the tires. Handling is good, but it's not worth flying over puddles, aquaplaning is strong.
