The summer lightweight tire with the vividly named Kormoran Impulser stands out for its rationality, which has allowed the cost of the final product to be kept at a very attractive level without compromising safety. This is largely due to the technological developments of the Michelin company, which today owns this well-known Polish manufacturer. As for the operational qualities of this model, in addition to its low price, it is beneficially distinguished by excellent fuel economy, softness, and acoustic comfort, as well as excellent traction properties on wet roads.

S-shaped design of the tread pattern

During the development of this model, great attention was paid to ensuring minimal rolling resistance and high traction properties, both on dry and wet asphalt. To solve this difficult task, the S-shaped symmetrical non-directional tread pattern, which is equipped with this tire, was ideal. This design made it possible to significantly increase the size of the contact patch, and the arrangement of most edges at a significant angle to the direction of movement reduced rolling resistance.

In this regard, it is also worth mentioning the reduced number of longitudinal tread ribs. There are only four of them, which also had a beneficial effect on fuel economy.

Excellent directional stability

The central part of the tread of this model contains two longitudinal ribs. Due to their solid design, these tread elements are distinguished by increased deformation resistance. This feature allows the tire to demonstrate a number of important advantages, from excellent directional stability at high speeds to instantaneous responses to steering wheel turns. Together, this makes the car handling process much easier.
