Description Kleber Viaxer
The Kleber Viaxer summer tire, produced by the renowned French manufacturer, is designed for the widest range of compact class passenger vehicles. This model is available in several dozen sizes with various mounting sizes, ranging from 13 to 15 inches, which indicates the wide applicability of this tire.
Unlike the Viaxer AS model, this tire is equipped with a tread featuring a non-directional symmetric pattern with an S-shaped design. As is typical for a modern-generation tire, the tread is built on a five-rib scheme, consisting of three longitudinal ribs located in the central part and two shoulder zones.
At the same time, the central part of the tread is distinguished by a very small width. In the very center of the tread is a longitudinal rib, the rigid and solid structure of which gives the tire good directional stability when driving at high speeds, as well as a short reaction time to steering wheel turns. The two adjacent longitudinal ribs of the Kleber Viaxer tire are divided by transverse channels into separate blocks, the sharp edges of which provide excellent traction and grip. Additionally, on the surface of the central rib blocks, the French tire makers have placed special lamellas that, when self-locking, significantly increase the stiffness of the blocks, which has led to an improvement in acceleration and braking efficiency.
A distinctive feature of this model is the very wide shoulder zones, which, like the longitudinal ribs of the central part of the tread, are divided by transverse water drainage channels into separate blocks. These blocks are also equipped with self-locking lamellas that enhance the stiffness of these tread elements. As a result, it was possible to achieve stable and reliable behavior when cornering.
Key features of the Kleber Viaxer tire
- Optimized S-shaped design of the non-directional symmetric tread provides reliable and stable behavior in various road conditions;
- Rigid central rib, thanks to which the tire demonstrates high maneuverability and excellent directional stability;
- Excellent fuel economy, thanks to reduced rolling resistance;
- Wide shoulder zones provide exceptional resistance to lateral skidding.
