Description Kleber Transpro
Transpro is a summer tire for light commercial vehicles and vans from the French company Kleber, which is a subsidiary of Michelin. This model is manufactured at French factories using the most advanced technologies with subsequent electronic quality control. It is designed specifically for commercial cargo transportation - there is even a direct indication of this in the name: "trans" means transportation, and "pro" means professionalism. In all qualities, it corresponds to this orientation: it provides a good level of comfort, reliability, and a long service life.
When using a vehicle equipped with these tires for transportation, you can be calm that the goods will be delivered in integrity and safety, because Kleber Transpro provides excellent softness of the ride. Kleber Transpro is released with three speed indices - N, R, and T, showing that the maximum acceleration speed of this tire is 140, 170, and 190 km/h, respectively.
The tread pattern of this model is non-directional and asymmetrical. It consists of several blocks separated by three deep and two small grooves. The double central rib of the tire contributes to high directional stability when driving in a straight line and instant response to the driver's steering commands. Z-shaped lamellas that separate the solid central ribs provide good traction with any road surface. The lamellas, in addition to improving traction, as it were, break the water film and "conduct" moisture into the grooves, from which it is safely removed. This contributes to the fact that the risk of aquaplaning on a wet road is virtually zero, which provides a high degree of safety. Moreover, the absence of skidding on a wet track is facilitated by the original geometry of the tread pattern itself.
Another feature of the Kleber Transpro tire is its reinforced shoulder blocks. They favor confident cornering, thanks to which the vehicle "shod" in these tires excellently enters turns even at high speeds (up to 190 km/h). The powerful blocks of the shoulder tread, in addition to everything else, improve contact with the road, and the inner protective four-millimeter layer protects the tire from overstretching.
It is worth saying a few words about the unique composition of the rubber mixture from which the tread is made. It includes silica, which makes the tire more elastic, as a result of which the ride characteristics on dry roads and wear resistance are improved.
Finally, the last positive quality of the Transpro model is the reduced rolling resistance, thanks to which fuel consumption is reduced by five percent when driving. This allows us to attribute this tire to the category of economical and environmentally friendly.
Distinctive features of the Kleber Transpro tire
- Transpro is a summer tire for light commercial vehicles and vans, released with three speed indices - N, R, and T, i.e., the maximum acceleration speed of the tire is 140, 170, and 190 km/h, respectively.
- The tread pattern design is non-directional asymmetrical.
- The double central rib of the tire contributes to high directional stability when driving in a straight line and instant response to steering.
- Z-shaped lamellas enhance traction and also break the water film, contributing to the rapid removal of moisture from the tread.
- Five longitudinal ring grooves - three large and deep and three small - contribute to the removal of water from the contact patch with the road surface, eliminating the risk of aquaplaning on a wet road.
- Reinforced shoulder blocks are responsible for good handling and maneuverability of the vehicle.
- The protective four-millimeter layer protects the tire from overstretching.
- Silica, which is part of the rubber mixture of the tread, increases the elasticity of the tire, which improves the traction properties of the tire and its wear resistance.
- Reduced rolling resistance allows you to save up to five percent of fuel.
