Description Kleber Quadraxer
The passenger tire Kleber Quadraxer is distinguished, first of all, by the universality of its application. This model was developed for operation throughout the year, which is reflected in its name. This is largely due to the V-shaped symmetrical directional tread pattern, the design features of which will be discussed below.
Good handling on snow and ice
One of the characteristic features of this model is its good traction properties not only on snowy but also on icy roads. This is largely due to the tread pattern, which contains a large number of traction edges. They are formed due to the presence of many individual blocks that are grouped into five longitudinal ribs. However, many more traction edges are formed due to the dense lamination of most tread elements. The central longitudinal rib is particularly notable in this regard. At the same time, most of the traction edges are located transversely, which allows the tire to demonstrate excellent performance on snow and ice when accelerating and braking.
High braking efficiency and excellent grip on wet roads
The block design allowed the tire Kleber Quadraxer to be equipped with a very developed drainage system, the efficiency of which was significantly increased due to the V-shaped arrangement of the tread elements. Another extremely useful addition that significantly increased the speed of water removal from the contact patch was the numerous grooves in the shoulder areas, the curved shape of which allowed the process to be significantly accelerated. Also, the numerous lamellas played a significant role in ensuring high resistance to aquaplaning, directing water into the longitudinal drainage grooves.
Excellent directional stability on dry roads
In the summer, this model will deliver no less pleasure from its precise handling than in the winter. The very rigid central longitudinal rib provides excellent directional stability, as well as very accurate and extremely fast reactions to steering wheel turns. In turn, the shoulder areas, containing many transverse rectangular blocks, allow for effective acceleration and deceleration, as well as maintaining stability when cornering.
Main features of the Kleber Quadraxer tire
- wide range of applications due to the possibility of operation throughout the year;
- excellent handling on snow and ice is achieved due to the numerous traction edges formed by the many individual tread blocks and lamellas;
- high resistance to aquaplaning due to the open design of the tread pattern, which contains a large number of transverse and longitudinal drainage grooves;
- excellent grip and directional stability on dry roads are provided by the rigid central rib and the many transverse blocks of the shoulder areas.
