The Kleber company is not as well-known worldwide as its "parent company", the tire giant Michelin. This is largely what makes the summer model Dynaxer HP so attractively priced, with its excellent technical characteristics, ranging from traction on wet roads to a long service life.
Productive on wet road tread pattern
When developing this model, the main focus was on ensuring maximum traction on wet roads. This is exactly why it has a tread with a highly developed drainage system. Its basis is two longitudinal grooves located next to each other in the central part of the tread. These elements are characterized by a significant internal volume, allowing them to easily handle almost any amount of water.
In turn, the shoulder areas cope with the effect of aquaplaning due to numerous diagonal drainage grooves. They have an increased throughput not only due to their location against the direction of travel but also due to their curved shape, which prevents the formation of vortices in the water flow.
Excellent traction on dry roads
Another characteristic feature of the tread design of this tire is the very large size of the contact patch. A significant part of it falls on the shoulder areas, which occupy more than 70% of the total tread area. Together with the flat tread profile, which gives the contact patch a almost square shape, this significantly improves traction on dry roads.
Main features of the Kleber Dynaxer HP tire
- two longitudinal grooves in the center of the tread and numerous diagonal channels in the shoulder areas prevent the occurrence of aquaplaning even at high speeds;
- wide shoulder areas in combination with a flat tread profile increase traction on dry roads, provide improved stability when cornering;
- a rigid edge running exactly in the middle of the tread gives the tire reliable predictable behavior at high speeds with clear feedback when maneuvering.
