Tire Kirov K-197, produced by a Russian manufacturer, is designed for installation on commercial vehicles during the summer period. In particular, these can be both domestic "Gazelle", "Sobol", as well as foreign vehicles.
The model combines reliability, durability, and wear resistance.
Directional stability and traction
To provide the best stability indicators when driving in a straight line, the tread has a solid central rib with a smooth surface. Also, this element has diagonal notches that, together with the middle zone blocks, are responsible for traction efforts, providing good traction properties. This achieves the efficiency of acceleration and braking of the vehicle, both in urban conditions and on dirt roads.
Shoulder zone
Here are individual rectangular blocks that perform the role of mud catchers. In addition, they participate in stabilizing the vehicle when performing maneuvers, minimizing, for example, axial skidding. These elements also improve passability on dirt roads, additionally protecting the tire from damage.
Drainage system
For rapid drying of the contact zone, the model's tread has 4 longitudinal channels. They are complemented by transverse grooves and lamellae, creating an effective drainage system in combination. The latter reliably protects the vehicle from aquaplaning even in heavy rain, maintaining a firm contact with the road.
