In the center of the tread, there is a wide longitudinal rib. It is divided into two parts by a drainage groove. This design improves several operational properties at once: high-speed stability, provided by the high resistance of the rib to deformation. In addition, its solid construction significantly reduces rolling resistance and fuel consumption along with it.

Improved efficiency on wet pavement

The tire tread contains a large number of blocks. In addition to the gripping edges formed by them, the developers applied special narrow slits - lamellas. These tread elements are arranged in different directions, which further increases their effectiveness. Especially on wet pavement, where the tire demonstrates improved traction and stability against lateral skidding.
