V-shaped symmetrical directional tread pattern
In developing this model, Chinese specialists decided to take advantage of the V-shaped tread pattern, which is distinguished by excellent efficiency on slippery surfaces. Rigid central rib
One of the components of the central part of the Kingstar RW07 tread is a longitudinal rib that runs exactly along its center. It is characterized by a very rigid structure, due to the absence of any gaps throughout its length. This made it possible to significantly increase the resistance of the central part of the tread to dynamic deformation changes. As a result, the tire gained the ability to maintain high directional stability, as well as quickly respond to steering wheel turns, which had a positive effect on both comfort and handling accuracy.
Multiple blocks in the central part of the tread
In addition to the central rib, this part of the tread features a multitude of individual blocks. They are characterized by a quadrangular shape and massive dimensions, which gave the tire a number of important qualities. First and foremost, these are excellent snow traction ratings, which are provided by the numerous edges formed by the blocks. Moreover, the massive dimensions made it possible to significantly increase the contact patch area, which also had a positive effect on traction properties, especially on snow-cleared sections.
