The Keter KT696 summer tire is designed for compact and mid-size passenger cars with improved dynamic properties. It is designed for operation associated with prolonged high-speed driving. In such conditions, it is distinguished by trajectory stability, sporty handling, resistance to aquaplaning, and a long service life.
The tread pattern is made in an asymmetric design with a division into functional zones. One of them is the outer edge of the tread with two ribs adjacent to it. The high resistance to deformation of these elements and their longitudinal arrangement increases the trajectory stability at high speeds and the accuracy of handling during dynamic maneuvering. The inner side of the tread is characterized by the presence of numerous edges formed by blocks and lamellas. They make it possible to effectively realize the traction effort on a wet surface and to slow down intensively in such conditions.
Main features of Keter KT696
- an asymmetric tread with functional areas provides stability at high speeds and reliability of longitudinal grip on a wet surface;
- an optimized tread profile, expanding the contact patch, improves handling and wear resistance;
- polished drainage grooves of large volume provide excellent resistance to hydroplaning.
