Description Kenda K530 Pathfinder
The Kenda Pathfinder tire stands out noticeably from most other models offered by this manufacturer for utility quad bikes. It is characterized by a wide range of applications, as it is suitable for operation on various types of soil surfaces, as well as low weight and long service life. One of the evidences of its high operational properties is that this model is included in the primary equipment of many quad bikes of famous brands.
Lightweight carcass
Aiming to give this tire maximum versatility, the company's specialists preferred to equip it with a 2-layer carcass. At the same time, the use of modern technologies and materials made it possible not only to significantly reduce the weight but also to maintain the tire's carrying capacity at a very high level. For some sizes, it reaches 150 kg, which, given its compact dimensions, is a fairly good indicator. This was achieved due to the use of synthetic cord wound using a seamless technology. Thanks to the absence of seams and joints, such a cord is distinguished by significant density, which, in turn, increased the carrying capacity and resistance to aggressive external influences.
Wide contact patch
Another characteristic feature of this tire is the increased size of the contact patch. This is the result of using a tread with a small-radius profile. In combination with a sufficiently rigid carcass, this solution, in addition to increasing the size of the contact patch, made it possible to give it a practically square shape, which positively affected the distribution of external weight on it. It became much more even, which, in turn, improved a number of operational properties of the tire, primarily passability and durability.
