Description Kelly Charger
The Kelly Charger summer tire is referred to as a "rain" tire. This passenger model is distinguished by excellent traction properties on wet pavement. Additionally, its strong points include comfort handling, fuel efficiency, and a good level of acoustic comfort.
The tread pattern is literally filled with numerous grooves. The unidirectional and bidirectional drainage elements prevent the formation of a solid water film in the contact patch, ensuring a consistently high intensity of water removal from the tread. The large number of high block edges in such conditions allow maintaining stability even at high speeds and intensive acceleration and braking.
Key Features of Kelly Charger
- increased resistance to aquaplaning due to the increased number and bidirectionality of drainage grooves.
- elongated and numerous block edges allow for intense acceleration and braking, maintaining directional stability on wet pavement;
- the optimized tread profile improves handling on dry pavement, slows down wear.
