Kapsen HD918

The Kapsen HD918 tire is designed for installation on passenger cars that are operated year-round, provided there is a "European" winter. They have a highway-type tread that is made of a fairly dense compound. This is what determines their main application area - asphalt roads.

Developed using modern simulation methods, the tread is characterized by its non-directionality and asymmetry. In its central part, there are three ribs that carry diagonal notches. This design allows for improved handling responsiveness and makes maneuverability as efficient as possible. This effect is complemented by a more rigid compound, which is also a passive protection against mechanical impacts.

The wide central channels are capable of holding a large amount of water and liquid mud, keeping the contact area clean and maintaining the effectiveness of traction and adhesion properties.
