Кама Я-245-1

All-season tire Kama Y-245-1 is developed based on the same-name model, previously produced in Yaroslavl, Russia. Like its predecessor, this model is designed for UAZ vehicles and their modifications. In this version, it is characterized by increased strength and reliability, in addition to the previously known advantages of this tire.

Special compound

The ability to withstand aggressive mechanical impact is largely ensured by the physicochemical properties of the rubber mixture. They differ slightly from the characteristics of the original model's compound. The use of modern materials has made it possible to significantly increase the strength of the rubber mixture for rupture and stretching. Additionally, some of them provide better uniformity of the compound, which also had a positive effect on its characteristics.

Reinforced sidewall

This model has the "signature" features that are characteristic of all tires of this brand. One of them is the increased strength of the sidewalls. They are entirely made of steel cord, produced using advanced winding methods.

Universal tread pattern

One of the reasons for the popularity of this tire is that it demonstrates good efficiency both on asphalt roads and on rough terrain. Universality is largely achieved due to the extremely successful design of the tread. Its central part, which contains three solid longitudinal ribs, provides stability and manageability on the highway. In turn, the shoulder zones consist of high ground grips, giving the tire confident behavior on unpaved roads.
