Description Кама Евро 225
The all-season passenger tire Kama Euro 225 is one of the successful attempts of the leading Russian tire manufacturer to create a universal tire suitable for use throughout the year. This model is designed primarily for the most popular small-class passenger cars. The tire is produced in three types - 195/65R15, 205/60R15 and 205/55R16. The speed index is H and V, which indicates the high technical characteristics of this model.
The tread of this model is equipped with an S-shaped non-directional symmetrical pattern, distinguished by its original design. The tread, like a modern generation tire, is equipped with five longitudinal ribs, separated by four water drainage grooves.
In the center of the tread, domestic tire engineers placed a solid longitudinal rib, thanks to the rigid design of which it was possible to provide the tire with high directional stability and high braking efficiency. In addition, the edges of the central rib have a wavy shape, which made it possible to significantly reduce the level of resonant noise and vibrations that inevitably arise during movement.
The two longitudinal ribs, also located in the central part of the tread, represent two rows of separate blocks. The numerous sharp edges formed by these blocks made it possible to provide reliable traction with slippery surfaces.
Another distinctive feature of the Kama Euro 225 model is the large width of the shoulder zones, as well as their high structural strength. Thanks to this, it was possible to give the tire's behavior in turns excellent stability and reliability.
It is also worth noting the presence of S-shaped lamellas on the surface of all tread elements. These lamellas form a multitude of additional sharp edges, which, when moving on ice, effectively pierce the water film, ensuring more reliable traction on a slippery surface.
The main features of the Kama Euro 225 tire
- Optimized S-shaped design of the symmetrical tread pattern made it possible to use the tire all year round;
- The rigid design of the central rib made it possible to achieve high indicators of directional stability and high braking efficiency;
- The wavy edges made it possible to reduce the level of noise and vibrations;
- A multitude of S-shaped lamellas provide more reliable traction with snowy and icy surfaces.
