The Joyroad MT200 summer tire is designed for SUVs that are used on low-bearing gravel surfaces. Although the model belongs to the Mud Terrain category, it has decent performance on paved roads.
Wide shoulder blocks
A characteristic feature of the tire's tread pattern is the design of the shoulder areas. They are formed by transversely arranged blocks. The massive size of these elements increases the contact patch, ensuring even distribution of the load across it. The long and curved edges formed by the blocks effectively grip the soft soil, allowing for the realization of almost all the engine's traction effort. This ability is further enhanced by the large distance between the elements, thanks to which the tread effectively self-cleans from soil particles.
Checkered block arrangement in the center
The central part of the tread is formed by two rows of trapezoidal blocks. They are arranged longitudinally, which reduces rolling resistance and increases directional stability. Relatively to each other, these elements are arranged with a significant offset. Such a design, on the one hand, allows optimizing the distribution of external load across the contact patch, and on the other hand, further increases its size, improving traction properties on hard surfaces.
Special rubber compound
The compound used in the manufacturing process is characterized by balanced properties. The use of modern polymers and silica has significantly increased its strength and durability. As a result, the tire can be used at reduced air pressure, ensuring reliable overcoming of the most difficult off-road sections.
