DescriptionDescription Jinyu YW51 Winterpro
Winter tires for passenger cars Jinyu YW51 are a typical representative of friction tires. Due to a fairly democratic price range, their sale can be concluded that this is one of the most ordinary types of winter car tires. These tires are designed for an active driving style, but their characteristics are best revealed when driving on asphalt or concrete roads.
Rubber composition
In connection with the need to use this type of tire in conditions of low temperatures and unfavorable natural conditions, engineers added a fairly high percentage of silica to the rubber mixture. As a result, the tires perfectly adapt to the coating.
Tread features
When developing this model of winter tires, it was decided to use a directed V-shaped tread pattern, which has proven itself well on other models. As a result, the model received excellent braking and traction characteristics, so important in winter conditions. In addition, the V-shaped pattern of the Jinyu YW51 tire creates an active anti-water wedge, allowing you to protect the wheel. Also, engineers provided for the presence of four longitudinal grooves and a system of grooves of different depths and widths, which perfectly cope with the removal of water from the contact patch area, optimizing the coupling conditions and preventing the risk of aquaplaning. Also, among the features of the tread, it is worth noting the active edges that are formed by rhomboid studs. As a result, the car receives excellent directional stability, the maneuverability of the car increases, and the risk of skidding even when overcoming snowy turns is significantly reduced.
Main features of the Jinyu YW51 tire
- Jinyu YW51 tires are designed for winter use;
- innovative components of the rubber mixture in combination with silica have made it possible to increase wear resistance, leaving the rubber soft, able to perfectly adapt to the characteristics of the road surface in winter;
- a well-thought-out drainage system provides for the presence of 4 central longitudinal channels and a system of additional grooves that perfectly remove water from the contact patch;
- a directed V-shaped pattern creates an anti-water wedge, improves car handling and road grip.

Great tyres! Balanced perfectly, 25g max imbalance, rest all under. Extremely quiet and soft. Waiting for real snow to test in those conditions and will update review later, but so far very happy.

This is my third winter driving on these tires and they're performing excellently. On packed snow, it's like driving on asphalt, and on ice, they can hold a speed of 80-90 km/h perfectly, as long as I don't press the brake pedal - I only brake using the engine, keeping a safe distance. When driving through puddles, there are no bumps when entering or planning, it's smooth. The wear resistance is great, but only if you constantly monitor the tire pressure. The rear pair on my car still looks like it's only done 5,000 km, the front ones slipped up a couple of times - the outer tread is worn out a bit. On dry roads, they can be a bit noisy - it's like driving on spilled oil, but again, that's a plus. For this price, I'd rather buy two sets of these tires than any other brand.

Good quality tread, does not cause any problems on a dry road in any weather, except for snow - I can only say that after it happens. Running on a dry track at speeds up to 170 km/h did not cause any problems, on bare ice it's slightly scary. I'll add a review when I encounter snow. The tire is completely quiet, balances well, one of the minuses is that it's a European type of tread. It will be suitable for Central Russia.
