IRC

The IRC trademark belongs to the Japanese company of the same name, founded in 1926. Since its inception, the company has been engaged in the development of tires for bicycles, wheelchairs, and motorcycles. The company's production assets consist of seven factories located near the main sales markets - Japan, South Korea, China, Vietnam, and the USA.

IRC Motorcycle Tires

Currently, the Japanese manufacturer offers a very wide range of models for motorcycle equipment. All models are distributed across the following categories:

- for enduro;
- for motocross;
- for mixed conditions;
- for urban roads.

In the segment of tires for motocross and enduro, the manufacturer offers models that are structurally racing tires. A two-layer carcass and breaker are widely used, which increases course stability at high speeds and reduces the risk of punctures. Several compounds with different characteristics are also used, adapting the tire to specific conditions. For example, the Gekkota uses a maximally elastic rubber compound that allows the tire to dampen a significant part of the impact when moving on uneven surfaces.

For motocross, the Japanese company offers tires with no less extreme solutions. Most of them are designed for use in fairly specific conditions. For example, the M5B was developed and tested on soft clay soils, as a set for the front and rear wheels. Their joint use provides perfectly balanced handling. It is worth noting the use of special compounds with optimal elasticity, resistance to abrasive wear, punctures, and tears.

In the segment of tires for mixed conditions, IRC is represented by a large number of models. The diversity is due to the fact that some tires are part of the primary equipment of bikes. In particular, the GP-21F/GP-22R is designed for the Honda CRF250, extremely popular all over the world. A distinctive feature of the entire line is high efficiency on various types of surfaces, which gives such specialized bikes as the aforementioned CRF250L a wider functionality than its developers intended.

The most numerous is the brand's line of tires for urban bikes. It covers almost all types of two-wheeled vehicles that can be seen on the streets today, including scooters. And, as with Dual Sport, some tires are used in the primary equipment of various bikes. For example, the SS-530 is installed on Honda's "Silver Wing". All tires are designed for specific types of motorcycles, differing from each other not only in size but also in internal design. The "signature" features of urban IRC models are increased rideability, smooth ride, and comfort in handling.
