Invovic EL518

The Invovic EL518 is a summer tyre designed for everyday driving on paved roads. Its tread features a dense pattern: longitudinal ribs occupy the central area, while wide shoulder zones are positioned at the edges. The design is complemented by four circumferential grooves and numerous narrow transverse sipes.

Stability on straight roads

Extended ribs with a large contact area dominate the central part of the tread. The sipes on these ribs are angled, yet the pattern maintains a clear longitudinal orientation. This structure helps the tyre maintain directional stability and transmit steering inputs without excessive movement of individual tread blocks. It is particularly effective during steady driving on highways.

Water evacuation from the contact patch

Four longitudinal grooves divide the tread and channel water entering beneath the tyre. Their performance is enhanced by transverse sipes: in the shoulder areas, these sipes are directed toward the outer edges of the tread. The combination of grooves and sipes in different orientations helps remove water from the contact zone and maintain grip on wet asphalt.

Extended shoulder zones

Wide shoulder blocks maintain a significant contact area with the road surface. They provide support under lateral loads generated during cornering or lane changes. Narrow transverse sipes divide the surface of these zones without creating large gaps between adjacent elements. As a result, the tread pattern combines additional biting edges with dense rubber placement along the edges of the tread.

Key features of Invovic EL518

- central longitudinal ribs enhance straight-line stability on asphalt;
- four circumferential grooves provide primary channels for water evacuation;
- transverse sipes in the shoulder zones help direct water away from the contact patch;
- wide shoulder blocks deliver strong support during maneuvering.
