Issued by a well-known European manufacturer, the summer passenger tire Interstate ECO Tour Plus is designed for small and medium-sized passenger cars.
According to the manufacturer, this tire, due to the use of environmentally friendly materials in combination with a new design of a non-directed tread pattern with reduced rolling resistance, will contribute to a reduction in carbon dioxide emissions from cars. The original design of the symmetrical non-directed tread pattern is distinguished, first of all, by ribs of small width, including the shoulder zones. Otherwise, the tread pattern contains reliable and time-tested solutions.
In the center of the tread, there is a continuous unbroken rib that provides the Interstate Eco Tour Plus tire with excellent directional stability and high maneuverability. Two adjacent ribs have a relatively small width, which contributes to a reduction in rolling resistance. In addition, to improve handling, the surfaces of these ribs are equipped with numerous self-locking zigzag-shaped lamellas that increase the stiffness of these tread elements.
It is also worth noting the uneven pitch of the lamellas not only on the central ribs but also on the surface of the shoulder zones of the tread, which significantly reduces the noise level when driving. To ensure stability and safety when driving on wet roads, the tread pattern is equipped with four wide and deep drainage grooves.
The design of the shoulder zones was also developed with the aim of providing low rolling resistance and is distinguished by a small width.
