Increased lamella density
The most numerous element of the tread is the lamella - a narrow slit in the block. They are located a few millimeters apart, forming a large number of sharp edges in the contact patch. They allow the tread to effectively grip the icy surface, providing confident behavior on it. It's also worth noting the wavy shape of the lamellas. It prevents transverse movement of the blocks, which further reduces the risk of skidding. In the shoulder areas, the lamellas are supplemented with special blockers that fix them in the open position over the entire block area. This feature improves handling and stability when maneuvering.
