The summer tire Imperial ECOVAN3 RF19 is designed for use in commercial vans and minivans. It is distinguished by its increased load capacity and strength, which are combined with reduced rolling resistance, wear resistance, and stable traction properties on wet surfaces.
The tread pattern consists of massive longitudinal ribs. At the edges, these elements are increased, which, in combination with the optimized profile, minimizes the risk of uneven wear of the tread and also increases the stability of traction properties and the accuracy of handling during maneuvering. In the central part, the longitudinal ribs are narrowed, having high resistance to deformation, which provides good directional stability during straight-line movement while reducing rolling resistance. It is also worth noting the presence of a significant number of lamellas and grooves in the shoulder areas. These elements significantly increase the intensity of braking and traction properties when maneuvering on wet surfaces. A notable difference is the optimized structure of the carcass and its combined construction, where, in addition to synthetic materials, a full-metal cord is used, located in the breaker. Such a "base" not only increases the tire's carrying capacity and its resistance to mechanical damage but also additionally strengthens its wear resistance and stability of traction properties.
