Imperial Ecodriver – summer tire presented by a Chinese manufacturer, the scope of which includes numerous passenger cars of various classes. The model is released in a large number of sizes, which is why it has acquired a high degree of universality.
The tire tread is designed with modern requirements in mind. It is represented by a non-directional asymmetric structure, in the central part of which there is a solid rib with lateral notches. It provides increased maneuverability and maximum control over the vehicle. The ribs of the middle zone, formed by separate blocks, as well as the shoulder area, form a large contact patch with numerous gripping edges. This factor has affected the efficiency of traction, both on dry and wet road surfaces.
To prevent the effect of hydroplaning, a large number of open-type drainage channels are provided. Through them, excess moisture is quickly removed, increasing the density of the tire's working surface to the road surface. The result is a short braking distance even on wet asphalt, as well as an increase in the overall level of safety.
Despite the fact that the tire belongs to the budget segment, it has an increased service life. This was achieved by including a number of additives in the composition of the compound. The latter not only increase the efficiency of traction but also ensure the maintenance of an optimal level of elasticity, not allowing the rubber mixture to soften excessively.
