Imperial Ecodriver 4S

The all-season tire Imperial Ecodriver 4S is designed for compact and mid-size passenger cars. It is offered in several dozen sizes for wheels with a rim diameter from 13 to 18 inches. It is distinguished by balanced operating properties, simultaneously demonstrating good traction properties on slippery surfaces, fuel efficiency and a high level of acoustic comfort.

Asymmetric Tread

The tire is equipped with a tread with an asymmetric arrangement of elements. They are distributed over several functional areas. One of them is the shoulder area on the outside of the tread. In essence, it is a solid longitudinal rib with high deformation resistance, which gives the tire stability in turns. The shoulder area on the inside contains numerous blocks that improve longitudinal traction. The central part also has an open design, but due to the inclination of the block edges, it increases directional stability, reduces rolling resistance and noise level.

Two Types of Lamellas

The tread contains lamellas of two types - straight and wavy. Straight cuts enhance longitudinal traction on slippery surfaces, give the tire a softer ride. Wavy lamellas also provide confident behavior on wet, snowy and icy surfaces, but at the same time, due to their shape, improve handling.
