Imperial Eco nordic – a winter tire from a Chinese manufacturer, which belongs to the budget segment. Despite this, it stands out for its performance characteristics, including confident handling at speed, durability of contact area fixation, and rapid self-cleaning of the tread.
The tire is equipped with a directional symmetric tread, in the center of which there is a solid irregularly shaped rib. It is this that ensures maneuverability and quick response to steering wheel turns. Separately located blocks of the middle and shoulder zone form the basis of the contact area. In combination with an extensive network of three-dimensional lamellas, they create a multitude of catches that increase traction, both on icy and snowy roads.
The presence of directional channels opening in the shoulder zone allows maintaining the cleanliness of the contact area, preserving the effectiveness of traction in any weather. An important factor is also the special compound, supplemented with a number of additives. The latter positively affect the preservation of elasticity over a wide range of negative temperatures. This factor also affected the improvement of the ability to suppress vibrations, making trips even on rough road surfaces more comfortable.
